Sports Massage

Sports Massage
Sports massage is the management and rehabilitation of soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and ligaments). Sports massage is not exclusive to sports people. People with chronic pain, joint problems, and stress or posture related dysfunctions, can benefit from it too.
Sports massage is designed to give you the best options in terms of recovery. It mixes deep  and gentle massage techniques with specific ones like Muscle Energy Techniques and Soft Tissue Release.

Gait Analysis & Retraining

Gait Analysis & Retraining
With gait analysis, you will have an understanding of the way you run and how it can impact your performance. With a video assessment of your running style, it will be possible to understand how your running can generate ailments that can slow you down or stop you from training.

Dry needling

Dry needling
Also called medical acupuncture, dry needling is an adaptation of Traditional Chinese acupuncture. Chinese acupuncture focuses on unblocking energy meridians and helps to create balance within the body. Dry needling focuses on stimulating a specific trigger point that is leading to pain and disability.
Trigger points are irritable points located in the muscle tissue or its associated fascia. When pressing on them, it can replicate your pain. They can be active and cause stiffness and pain, or passive and bring only stiffness.

Kinesiology taping

Kinesiology taping
Using different degrees of tension, Kinesiology Taping can have different purposes. It can relax or activate muscles and help with re-aligning joints to correct posture or reduce any oedema.
Here are other benefits of Kinesiolkogy Taping:

ScarWork is the original work of Sharon Wheeler. She discovered it in 1973 and then developed it.
Scars are not always definitive. Scars are healing in random fashion, but with ScarWork, we can integrate them by improving their appearance and the condition of surrounding tissues.
